Eel needs to find a perfect river for him to survive in and be safe, without any harm!
Eel searches through a swamp, forest which leads to a river, which leads to a gorge an amazingly colored waterfall! Slithered over a wide, wide valley, then over the famous tossok hill.
I rate this book fairly well, Eel Dreaming is my favorite ben brown book. This book is the best!

I gave this rating because this story is sad, Eel cannot find a home to live in and every home he feels Awesome in is every home he gets kicked out of. On the bright side, this book is filled with adventure, “furiously trying to find a home he slithers down tossok hill struggling to survive. He needs to find a swamp/river” Eel is brave and loyal, he loves a good adventure and definitely 6-8 would love this book even little kids would love this book getting read to them, this is a good bedtime story and I recommend it!

Awapuni school takes zero waste seriously

Zero waste at Awapuni school?

I totally agree that Awapuni school takes zero waste seriously! Here are my three reasons why.

Firstly, We have spent a lot of time on zero waste. We have researched and discovered lots of stuff. For all, I know room 3 have spent a whole term on discovering facts about zero waste. In our classroom  ( room 3 ) we have a wall about zero waste. There are recycling e-waste posters, greenhouse effects topic learning, and pictures from when we went to the recycling center! Biodegradable stuff is what we enjoy! Also a little bit of caring for the environment.

Secondly, greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are bad but can also be good here is why. For example, we need greenhouse gases to make us live! Now here comes the dark side, well not really dark because this connects with the sun, extra greenhouse gases affect the natural balance of the Earth! The sun’s heat rises back into the atmosphere and the greenhouse gases trap that heat. The more and more greenhouse gases there are the more and more the Earth’s natural temperature rises. In fact, in the twentieth century, the Earth’s average temperature increased by 0.6 degrees Celsius!

Thirdly, green team. Awapuni school has made up a green team, the green team reduces our carbon footprint by planting more trees in our school environment. They also can make our carbon footprint bigger and bigger and bigger. By moving lots, going in the car, the car ’s use up gas and gas is made from fossil fuel!

In fact, zero waste is so interesting that you can search it up to. Hopefully, you have learned something from this and please, please clean up your environment and take care of your community!
