My Mandala creation ♥

This is my calendar art! This year we did something special for calendar art because it is our last year at this school. I found it hard to plan my layout. I liked planing what colours i was going to use and how hard I was going to press to make it look 3D.

Term 2 creative Jandal art!

Last term our art was designing and painting jandals and following all the rules that come with them.
Our jandals had to say something about us and our culture or something unique!
my jandals are very colourful because i love colours! I added the Aquarius image because that is my zodiac sign. I also wrote the word AROHA and drew the Maori friendship necklace because my name means friendship and Harmony! I drew a paint brush painting a smiley face because I love drawing! And I drew a flower because I love how each one has there own unique sent so you can recognise them individually!

accomplishing a campground scene!🏕

This is my Year 6 clay art^. As a year 6 next year I would like to achieve going to camp.
What I made is about leadership, I want to be a strong year 6 and be in the student council.
I made it by using wet clay and air dry clay tools, it needing teamwork because mine fell on the ground and broke, I had to restart all over again!
That was also very challenging restarting because it was last minute!
I am proud that it actually turns out good, I am also proud that I am holding it without dropping it! 😃🏕

I chose Loyal because I am dependable and reliable!
We have learned how to use watercolours and a word and symbol
that best describes our time at Awapuni school.
What I found challenging was blending my colours! What I loved was creating my font for LOYAL!
